Joke Roos
Known for her timeless and elegant design, Joke Roos never leans toward one particular design style. She chooses to focus on the needs and characters of her clients, and decides which style suit them best, as the property belongs to them. “Just like its name, Air Putih (plain water), Studio Air Putih has the flexibility to change its form depending on the spatial condition without losing its essence,” she explains the philosophy before the design studio she built together with her husband, Architect Denny Gondo, in late 2000.
The alumnus of Parahyangan University who graduated with Architecture degree has received local and international design awards. Timeless flair and understated beauty have always been attached to Joke Roos’ design characters, because she truly believes a design that ages with grace will never lose its aesthetic values
