THE COLOURS OF INDONESIA
The Colours of Indonesia is the highly anticipated and inspiring interior design exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, masterminded by ID12 (12 Indonesian Interior Designers: Agam Riadi, Anita Boentarman, Ary Juwono, Eko Priharseno, Joke Roos, Prasetio Budhi, Reza Wahyudi, Roland Adam, Sammy Hendramianto S, Shirley Gouw, Vivianne Faye, and Yuni Jie).
The Colours of Indonesia is an exhibition with a new concept. It emphasises on the design concept with ID12 designers’ own interpretation of a world class exhibition.
The Colours of Indonesia takes place every two years at the atrium of Senayan City, Jakarta. This biennial exhibition presents different design concept in each edition. In 2014, the main theme of The Colours of Indonesia is residence. While in 2016, the exhibition is titled “Hotel No.12”; and in 2018, the event showcased “Maison No.12 Designers Suites Apartment Show Unit”. In the past three editions, ID12 created special designs infusing Indonesian cultural heritage with their signature style.
The preparation takes months before finally executed, in just four nights at the venue. It involves 1,500 workers, 90 sponsors, and ID2 exerts their sweats and dedication to build the show unit apartment. All personnel are working hand in hand to bring this anticipated exhibition comes to life. This 10-day exhibition is open for public, visitors consisting of design professionals, interior enthusiasts, and students, are seen enjoying the 650sqm well-designed space.
