After pursuing his study in Interior Design at Academy of Arts University in San Francisco, Prasetio Budhi worked at a reputable Indonesia’s design firm and in 2003, started his own PlusDesign Interior Design Company. “I adore Modern design as much as Classic design, this is why both of my book title starts with the word ‘simply’, “Simple Stated” and ‘SimplyRefined’,” Pras explains. His determination and skills in creating detailed works have brought him numerous high-end residential, retail, and commercial projects. Some of them have been published in Andrew Martin Interior Design Review book.
In this year’s showcase, Pras–his nickname–will stick to contemporary style. A dynamic bedroom layout with an en-suite bathroom is being planned for “Chamber of Texture”, a pavilion guest bedroom at the Modern residence. “I would like to design the room like a guest house in a villa, where guests have their own private area, away from the main house. It is a semi-open floor plan with a blurred boundary between bedroom and bathroom. Something bold, yet calming,” he explains.
